Quality Assurance Internship
⏰ Applications open until Jun 30, 2026
We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and tech-savvy QA Intern to join our engineering division. In this role, you will be the final line of defense before software updates are released to production. Working directly under our QA/BA Lead, you will learn how to break down client requirements, write rigorous test cases, validate web and mobile applications, and maintain the absolute highest standards of software stability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Manual Execution
Review software requirement documents and wireframes to understand feature logic.
Write, update, and execute detailed Test Cases and Test Suites for web platforms (Next.js/React) and mobile apps (Flutter).
Perform comprehensive Functional, Regression, Smoke, and UI/UX testing across multiple browsers and device environments.
2. Defect Tracking & Project Management Integration
Identify, replicate, isolate, and log bugs meticulously inside our project management system (Redmine).
Collaborate actively in the QA status "ping-pong" workflow—re-testing bug fixes and managing ticket transitions between Feedback and Resolved statuses.
Work closely with development teams (Python, Frontend, Flutter) to ensure edge cases are well understood and rectified quickly.
3. Automation & Process Optimization (Learning Track)
Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for common system test pathways.
Learn and assist with basic API testing using tools like Postman.
Participate in structural sprint cycles and help track internal testing timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or ongoing final semester) in Computer Science, IT, BCE, BIM, or a related technical field.
Core Concepts: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Analytical Mindset: An exceptional eye for detail with a natural knack for finding hidden bugs, edge cases, and user flow friction.
Tech Literacy: Familiarity with web tracking tools, browser developer consoles, or standard project management software (like Redmine, Jira, or Trello) is a huge plus.
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali to document technical issues clearly for the developers.
